From September 21 to 27, the Vein Abundance event opens the featured-Prismana season with Prismana Glynsera, an Ice + Holy DPS that only appears at Beast Fang Ridge when a Prismana Flow triggers. It's a seven-day window, with three boosted chances at +50% and a zone where it respawns endlessly, before it hands over to three other Prismana ahead of a general encore from October 19 to 26. Here's how not to miss the ice wolf, and what to do with it once you've caught it.
The Vein Abundance schedule
The event runs on a weekly rotation: one "featured" Prismana, one region. Mark it in your calendar, because a featured Prismana pushes out its usual neighbour: during Glynsera's week, Prismana Scorchhowl no longer appears at Beast Fang Ridge.
If you miss the week of the 21st, all is not lost: the October encore week gives you another shot. But the first window is the most comfortable one, without competition from players who are already geared up. For the rest of the launch programme, check our event calendar.
Three boosted chances and an infinite zone
This is the big new thing about this event compared to a classic Prismana hunt: you're not at the mercy of a single fickle weather state. Vein Abundance gives you three boosted chances at +50% over the week, and an infinite spawn zone where Glynsera comes back as soon as you've caught it or scared it off.

In practice, the infinite zone is for shopping around: you chain encounters until you land on a potential you like, then pull out a boosted chance to lock it in. Don't burn all three boosts on the first one you meet.
Why this Glynsera?
Glynsera comes in three forms. The Prismana form adds the Holy element to Ice and keeps the Biting Wind trait: when the target carries more than 5 stacks of Ice Debuff, your damage gains +15% critical rate. The whole way you play it follows from that one line.

A killer's profile: high attack, decent regen for chaining skills, average defences. It won't survive alone on the front line; it needs a Break and a healer behind it.

Where and how to catch it
The rule is the same as for every Prismana (we explain it in our dedicated guide): Prismana Flow weather must be active in the right region. During the event, the right region is Beast Fang Ridge, and only that one.
- 1Reach at least level 25
The zone runs from 22 to 30. An under-levelled Prismana Glynsera is hard to catch and flees. If you're behind, the [route to level 40](/en/guides/route-niveau-40) goes right through there.
- 2Wait for or trigger a Prismana Flow
You can wait for the weather to come or consume a Prismana Crystal to force it immediately. Keep one for the October encore week.
- 3Head for the infinite zone
That's where encounters chain without downtime. Watch for the red tips: according to the Aniilog, its fur and the blades in its jaws turn red when it feels threatened.
- 4Weaken it with a Fire Aniimo
Emberpup or Flameruff, both present in the zone, carry the Scorching Flames trait (+25% against targets weak to your element) and get the job done without risking a knockout.
- 5Spend a boosted chance, then throw
On a well-worn Glynsera, activate one of your three +50%, then an Aniipod Ultra if you want the absolute guarantee and at least an Elite potential.
If the hunt goes badly, there's an emergency exit: a Prismana Glynsera Egg appears in the site's data, to be hatched in an outpost Hatchinator. Its source wasn't observed in the beta, so don't count on it 100%.
Forces a Prismana Flow the moment you absorb it. The shortcut if the weather sulks during your seven days.
Guaranteed capture, Elite potential or better. The right throw for an Aniimo that only comes back once in October.
Quick throw, doubled chances. Combined with a boosted chance, it saves the Ultra if Glynsera is already well weakened.

The ice team around Glynsera
The trait only triggers with Ice Debuff stacks on the target. So you need teammates who stack cold and an energy generator so you never run out of EP. Heals well and its Purifying Dance speeds up EP recovery, a good stand-in for Somniwing.
Breaks the guard without applying ice, but does the job until you find Geoclaw at Nimbus Fields.
Designed for Wind, but its reduction of the enemy's critical resistance fits Glynsera's trait perfectly.
Restores 4 EP when you cast a skill below 20 EP. Longer to obtain (Pathfinders to defeat).
Avoid: putting it in a Holy team. Without ice around it, the +15% critical never activates, and Prismana Slash hits about like Ice Strikes without applying a single stack. It's Holy on paper, Ice at heart.

The core of the gameplay is a counting game: apply 5, hit, reapply. Frost Tail Strike swallows 10 stacks at once, which can drop the target below the 5 threshold and cut off your critical bonus. Hence the value of the held-item contract that boosts Frost Tail Strike: the boosted version only consumes half the stacks, and your trait stays active far more often.

And when it isn't fighting?
Glynsera isn't just a knife. Its Hustle mobility makes it a sprinter that burns stamina continuously, which explains its S in Run fast (base form) and its SS in Carry (Prismana form). At the Homeland, the source page gives it Carry level 4, Ice level 4 and Light level 3: perfect for cooling down the base and hauling harvests to storage when it's not in the active team.
What are the three boosted chances for?
Each boost adds +50% to your attempt, and you only get three for the week. Use them on an already-weakened Glynsera, ideally with the potential you're after, rather than on the first one you run into.
Is Prismana Glynsera available outside September 21–27?
Yes, an encore week from October 19 to 26 brings it back to Beast Fang Ridge with the three other event Prismana. Nothing indicates availability outside these two windows.
Can I evolve a Fenrier into Prismana Glynsera?
No. The Bonesky → Fenrier → Glynsera evolution only gives the base form. The Prismana form is caught under Prismana Flow or obtained from an egg.
Why has Prismana Scorchhowl disappeared from Beast Fang Ridge?
During Glynsera's week, the featured Prismana replaces the zone's own. Prismana Scorchhowl should become visible again after September 27.
Is Geoclaw mandatory?
It's the best partner because it stacks Ice Debuff while hitting. Helmut breaks the guard just as well but doesn't feed Glynsera's trait, so you'll have to apply the ice yourself with Ice Strikes.
