How does hatching work?

Only the Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube carry a hatching guarantee: keep them for the eggs that matter.

Get an egg
Eggs come from exploring, events and other systems; each already carries the tags that decide what it becomes.

Incubate it in the Hatchinator
Put it in the Hatchinator, your Homeland incubator: it hatches on a real-time timer. It can also hatch the eggs of nearby Pathfinders.

Speed it up
Caress the egg to cut the wait (daily limit, friends can caress yours), spend speed-up items, or use the weekend bonus: hatching time halved from Friday to Sunday.

Meet your Aniimo
The egg hatches into its Aniimo — some eggs even have a chance to give two at once.
